I thought I'd never say this, but this might just be the year I dip my literary toes into some truly spooky stories.

If you asked me even earlier this year, I would've told you that I don't like horror. Not even a little bit, not even at all. I then had the opportunity to listen to Our Sister's Keeper by @jasminelholmes (Thank you @librofm  @mynameismarines & @bindery_books) and, well, it was amazing! I loved the Southern Gothic vibes and feminine rage, which got me thinking that maybe I wasn't giving the genre enough of a chance.

So, this spooky season, I've rounded up a collection of books that both intrigue me and scare me a little, or are maybe just a little darker and more Gothic feeling than my usual tomes. Will I make it through this whole list? Probably not, but I'm going to try!
